new bits of blog
I’ve decided to open a Gallery. See it up there above the header? It’s on a very modest scale: two rooms and a virtual café so far. One room is the former “College Show” page and the other is my little display of scarves that just went up at the cathedral. The latter collection is not actually complete yet — at least two more are needed from the latest warp (including another incredible shrinking adventure) and then we’ll see where we’re at.
Something else I have been thinking about for a while is setting up a virtual shop, courtesy of etsy, but I am not sure about it. I know it is international, but I don’t know whether it really works for people outside North America — or indeed whether it really works at all. What do others think? Have you sold or bought anything through etsy?

I can’t grow peonies here in South Carolina, darn. I did grow them up north. If I were say 30 years younger and capable physically of doing limited production weaving, I would be definitely looking into Etsy, but then I am in the U.S. I know you can search Etsy, but can you search it by country?
